Kursbeschreibung

1) Videoaufnahmen von Dialogen und Befragungen aus Sakis MBSR-Klassen ansehen;

2) Dialoge und Befragungen üben;

3) uns mit dem geschickten Umgang mit Fragen vertraut machen;

4) lernen, den Dialog mit einer Person in das Gefüge des gemeinschaftlichen     Bewusstseins einzubinden;

5) Feedback von TeilnehmerInnen und AusbilderInnen erhalten;

Course Description

This seminar will explore further aspects of dialogue and inquiry and will not be a repeat of the 2018 workshop.

DIALOGUE AND INQUIRY is the communal, heartbreakingly beautiful conversation that is the hallmark of MBSR and, by extension, all authentic mindfulness-based programs. Emerging out of the direct experience of program participants, this intimate form of conversation is, by its very nature, deeply human, ennobling, and transformational. Identified as one of the central competencies to be cultivated in the ongoing development of mindfulness-based teachers, this training retreat is oriented around the practice of dialogue and inquiry.

In dyads and triads we’ll: 1) view video recordings of dialogue and inquiry from Saki’s MBSR classes, 2) practice dialogue and inquiry, 3) become familiar with the skillful use of questions, 4) learn to weave dialogue with one person into the fabric of the communal consciousness, 5) receive peer and instructor feedback, and 6) identify foundational principals of dialogue and inquiry. In the large group, we’ll enhance our capacity for understanding, integrating and synthesizing our experiences by speaking about what we find difficult, delightful (and everything in between) in the dialogue and inquiry practice happening during this training retreat and in our own MBP courses.

The primary intention of this weekend program is to co-create a learning community that supports each us being more embodied, relationally wise and skillful mindfulness teachers.

Who Should Participate:

· MBSR “Qualified” oder “certified” Teachers

· MBSR and MBCT Teacher Trainees

· People with experience integrating mindfulness systematically within group settings into social institutions such as medicine, education, social work, psychology, business, law, and government.

Course Criteria:

1. Highly motivated to be a learner

2. Consistent, daily mindfulness practice

3. Willingness to suspend judgment in service of receiving and offering feedback.
